WAVEGUIDE RECEIVING ANTENNA

The waveguide receiving antenna is used for receiving of high-power microwave pulses. The antenna design is based on a standard waveguide of cross-section 23×10 mm. The frequency dependence of the effective absorbing area of the antenna is reduced by radio-absorbing wedges on the outside of the waveguide.

Parameters of the antenna
Operating frequency range9–11 GHz
Input microwave peak powerup to 100 kW
Effective area in the operating range2.8–3.7 cm2
SWR from the side of the output flange in the operating rangeno greater than 2
Weightno greater than 150 g
Dimensionsno greater than 42×42×115 mm
